SOL DTFA08-95-B-02944 POC Nancy Davis, (310)297-1581 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has a requirement for the establishment of a Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights (MALSR) at Lincoln Municipal Airport, Lincoln California. Government estimate is between 250K and 500K. The work involved for this project consists of, but is not limited to; installation of Government furnished MALSR; concrete work; electrical work; trenching, backfilling and compacting; conduit and cable installation; land surveying; asphalt work; installation of chain link fences, GFM MALSR equipment; ground rods; wiring, cleanup and testing. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1731. This is an unrestricted procurement in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program Title VII of the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 (PL 100-656). This notice BELOW is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to 1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of credit is $500,000.
