61 -- TWO (2) NEW 69 KV POWER CIRCUIT BREAKERS SOL RFQ NO. 800236 POC Contact Point, Roseann Callister, (516)282-3142 This synopsis replaces announcement appearing in the 6/13/95 edition of the CBD. Solicitation number was incorrect. The Brookhaven National Laboratory intends to solicit bids for two (2) new 69 kV Power Circuit Breakers for the Main Substation at Building 631A. Solicitation to be issued on or about 07/15/95. Power circuit breakers shall be three phase, sixty Hertz for outdoor use with overhead bus installation. The breakers shall be 72.5 kV maximum rated voltage, 1200 amp continuous current, 40 kA short circuit current at 72.5 kV. Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas shall be used as the dielectric and interruupting medium. The breaker design shall be dead tank.
