The work to be performed under this acquisition consists of constructing approximately eight relief wells and a drainage collection and discharge system at the downstream toe of Jamestown Dam. The relief wells will be approximately 18 inches in diameter and 110 feet in depth. The drainage collection system will consist of pipes from each relief well manifolded to two or more discharge lines. Piezometers will be required at the mid-point between each of the relief wells. The estimated price range of the work is $250,001 to $500,000. The work is situated at Jamestown Dam in Stutsman County, approximately 1 mile north of Jamestown, North Dakota. Solicitation packages will be available July 12, 1995. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before August 1, 1995. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for August 15, 1995, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Dakotas Area Office, 304 East Broadway, Bismarck, North Dakota. The contract completion time is 90 days after receipt of notice to proceed. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the following offices of the Bureau of Reclamation: Dakotas Area Office, or Great Plains Regional Office, Federal Building, Room 2031, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation.
