Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct the Mead Substation (Stage 07). The work includes: clearing and excavation of substation site, excavation for structures, installing corrugated metal pipe, PVC pipe and concrete pipe, fencing, gravel surfacing, seeding, concrete, metalwork; installing Government-furnished autotransformer, power circuit breakers, current transformers, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, interrupter switch, disconnecting switches, line trap, unmounted devices on existing duplex switchboard, insulated conductors and cables, and bus systems; furnish and install grounding system, conduit, and substation signs; removing transmission line materials, electrical equipment, steel structures, wood pole structures, and cutting off concrete foundations; furnish and install steel lattice structure, transmission line spans, and accessories. Unrestricted solicitation. All responsible bidders will be considered. Estimated cost of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
