Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to demolish and remove the existing steel handrails and concrete stairs, foundations and sidewalks at the North and South ends of Building #2, and then replace them with new concrete foundations, stairs, sidewalks and aluminum handrails. The work shall be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il 60141. (Hines, Il. is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago). All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawing and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after July 14, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompained by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encourage to attend the site visit scheduled for July 27, 1995 at 10:30am local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for August 16, 1995 at 1:30pm local time.
