Renovation and expansion of parking includes expanded and new north drive at Buildings 5, 6, 7 and 3; new west lot; replacement of south sanitary sewer line; new southeast parking; replacement of sidewalk and curb at south edge of main parking; and pew pedestrian plaza at staff entry. Work includes site work, paving, utility, and site lighting. Estimated construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Site walk-thru is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8, 1995, at 10:00 AM in Building 4, Room 5, at the VA Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. Requests for bid documents must be in writing. There is a $25.00 fee for each set of bid documents. Checks should be made out to the VA Medical Center. Contract completion date is 435 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This schedule will accommodate a fall of 1995 start date or a spring of 1996 start date. There are three phases to the project. Award is subject to availability of funds and a 90 day bid acceptance time. (0173)
