Work consists of the construction of a 5,500 SF addition to an existing metal building. New addition to include concrete foundations, insulated metal siding, structural steel frame, interior finishes, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, interior electric and exterior drainage work. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Estimated construction time is 43 weeks. Bid documents will be available on or about July 31, 1995. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $50 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable.
