Z -- REPAIR AND MAINTAIN ROOFS, BLDGS. 1007, 1008, 1016, 1020 AND 1029, WILL ROGERS AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA SOL DAHA34-95-B-0013. DUE 090695 POC Contracting Specialist, SSG Linda Porter, 405-425-8272, Base Civil Engineer, MAJ Peter Shanahan, 405-686-5310. Furnish all plant, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to repair and maintain roof, bldgs. 1007, 1008, 1016, 1020 and 1029. Project includes but is not limited to: (1) Remove all loose rust, loose mill scale, and loose paint from the roof surface, (2) Power wash the roof surface to remove all dust, dirt, debris and foreign matter from the surface, (3) Install specified primer, (4) Inspect all exposed bolts/fasteners. Replace missing bolts/fasteners with next larger size. Replace bolts/fasteners having damaged gaskets. Tighten any/all loose bolts/fasteners, (5) Seal all bolts/fasteners with Elastomeric Brush Grade Mastic, per specifications, making sure the bolt/fastener is completely covered and sealed tight to the deck, (6) Seal all seams, (7) Seal projections with elastomeric brush or trowel grade mastic, (8) Gutters: (a) Exterior gutters shall be cleaned of all dirt and debris. Power wash if possible, (b) Wire brush all areas of loose rust, creating a sound surface, (c) prime entire interior portion of gutter with specified rust primer, (d) Seal all joints, (9) Seal all ridge cap seams, (10) Apply elastomeric base coat over the entire roof area, (11) Apply elastomeric top coat over entire roof area, and (12) Remove all trash and debris from base and clean up work sites. All work must be completed within 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude of project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The proposed contract is being considered for 100 percent small disadvantaged business set-aside. Interested small disadvantaged business concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 days from publication of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisiiton by providing the Contracting Office at USPFO for Oklahoma, Attn: SSG Porter, 3535 Military Circle, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73111-4398 evidence of capability to perform, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. Responding potential bidders shall identify their status as a 8(a), SDB, ESB, small business or large business. If adequate interest is not received from qualfied SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, without further notice and evaluation preference will not be applied. All General Contractors interested in bidding this project must request in writing an IFB package from the USPFO for Oklahoma, Attn: SSG Porter, 3535 Military Circle, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73111-4398.
