The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA plans to procure a VME Chassis and VME cards as part of a real time missile simulation. The following equipment will be procured on a brand name or equal basis: One (1) each VME compatible Universal I/O Controller (UIOC) card with 25Mhz 68040, 4 megabytes shared DRAM, and VMIC UIOC Firmware, VMIC Corporation P/N VMIVME-9300-071 (OR EQUAL); One (1) each Single-Attached Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI) card, 6U front panel, to interface UIOC referenced above, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-5211S (OR EQUAL); One (1) each 25 ft FDDI cable for FDDI card referenced above, VMIC Corp. P/N VMICBL-000-F3-A02 (OR EQUAL); One (1) each UIOC Host Software Utilities, Development Environment for above referenced UIOC card, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME/SW-UIOC1- ABC-DEF (OR EQUAL); One (1) each 21 Slot VME Chasis to hold all the VME cards, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-120 (OR EQUAL); One (1) each 21 Slot J1/J2 VME backplane, to connect all the VME cards, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-M21 (OR EQUAL); One (1) each Triple Fan Assembly (Domestic Power Supply) to cool VME cards, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-FA3-D (OR EQUAL); One (1) each 750 watt swing out power supply to power the VME cards, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-PS750-112 (OR EQUAL); Two (2) each VME 8 channel, 12-bit DAC with built-in test, 6U front panel, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-4122-010 (OR EQUAL); Two (2) each VME ADC, 64 channel, 12 bit, scanning with built-in test, without filters, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-3113A-000 (OR EQUAL); Two (2) each VME 32-bit high voltage digital I/O board with built-in test and P2 I/O, positive true outputs, 270 ohm pull up resistors, and no input filter/terminator, VMIC Corp. P/N VMIVME-2534-001 (OR EQUAL); and assembly and testing of all of the above VME parts. All items must be VME compatible, and hardware and software must be compatible with each other and with the Government-owned Sun Sparc 20. Complete critical salient characteristics required for each item will be included in the solicitation. Delivery shall be FOB destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division prior to 1 November 1995.
