This project includes the whole neighborhood revitalization of the historic Areas 25 and 26, including the upgrade of 101 noncommissioned officer family housing dwelling units. Improvemenets include floor plan layout; kitchen upgrade; bathroom upgrade; and electrical upgrade. Exterior work includes landscaping; clean and repair sanitary and storm sewers; installations and repair of sidewalks and roads; erosion control; and tree planting and pruning. Components will be constructed in accordance with Army Communities of Execellance Program and Georgia State Historical Preservation Office. Lead paint and asbestos abatement will be included.
