CONTRACT (TERC) FOR THE OMAHA DISTRICT WITHIN DIVISIONAL BOUNDARIES OF
MISSOURI RIVER DIVISION POC Contact Contracting Division at:
(402)221-4266. This is a pre-invitation notice designed to acquaint
prospective offerors with a future requirement that the Omaha District
intends to award by the end of calendar year 1995. The actual CBD
notice will be issued following receipt of certain approvals from
higher headquarters. The requirment is for a Total Environmental
Restoration Contract (TERC) for the Omaha District. Performance will be
within the Divisional Boundaries of the Missouri River Division. The
actual work will consist of Remediation and Related Services in support
of a TERC Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity Type Cost
Reimbursable Contracting mechanism for the Omaha District with the Twin
Cities Army Ammunition Plant, New Brighton, Minnesota, serving as the
anchor installation. Other potential use facilities include, badger
AAP, Madison, Wisconsin, Iowa AAP, Burlington, Iowa, Fort Carson,
Colorado Springs, CO and others. The principle purpose of this TERC is
Remedial Action, however, it will also require the necessary
capability to conduct General Studies, Preliminary Assessments, Site
Investigations, Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies, Remedial
Designs, On-Site Remediation and Short Term Operation and Maintenance
of Government owned/controlled facilities. The estimated amount of this
acquisition is expected to be $300 Million Dollars. The proposed
acquisition will not be set aside for Small Business firms or Small and
Disadvantaged Businesses but each is encouraged to participate in this
TERC acquisition. They should be used to the maximum extent
practicable as both prime and subcontractors. The use of teaming
arrangements in order to obtain the full remediation service capability
