The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking bidders for the following project: Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment and materials required for handicap barrier removal and repair/alteration of Bldg. 110. Work will be performed at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Mt. Weather Emergency Assistance Center, State Route 601, PO Box 129, Berryville, Virginia. The base bid work includes the: installation of a watt-hour meter, doors, windows, incremental thru-the-wall heating/air conditioning units, communications and power raceways, carpet, lights, suspended ceiling, attic insulation, and underground electrical service; construction of two entry-way porch coverings, a unisex lavatory, a ramp, and wood steps; reinforcing of a floor; painting of interior walls, and removal of hooks/brackets, filling of holes, repointing and painting the exterior concrete masonry unit walls. Option One Work shall be the installation of an exterior insulation and finish system on Bldg 110. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract subject to the availability of funds. EMV-95-B-0364 will be issued O/A 07/24/95 with an opening date of bids approximately 30 days thereafter. Period of performance will be 300 calendar days (Base bid and Option Work). Specification and drawings will be available upon receipt of a written request to the above PO Box address, ATTN: Jennie K. Renner and a $75.00 deposit for each set with checks payable to the U.S. Treasurer. Responses are due by 07/12/95. This solicitation is set aside for the small business concern. The size standard for the small business concern, including its affiliates, is annual sales or receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not to exceed $17.0 million.
