The notice should be read as follows: Massachusetts Highway Department, Notice to Contractors, Bid Opening: Tuesday, July 25, 1995 at 2:00 PM, Boston: FAP Nos. I90-1(132), NH93-(389), Central Artery/Tunnel Project, Vacuum Excavation & Extraction Materials (C23AA). To all Contractors who have taken out bid documents for the Central Artery Tunnel Project, contract number C23AA: The Massachusetts Highway Department has added an additional category of Work that Bidders may be Prequalified in to bid this contract. The new categories of work that contractors need to be Prequalified in to bid on the C23AA contract are: ``Utilities'' or ``Highway Construction''. The Department is hereby rescinding the issuance of all Official Bid Proposals for C23AA. All Contractors must be prequalified in the categories of Utilities or Highway Construction before receiving an Official Bid Proposal from the Department in order to submit a bid for the C23AA contract. If a bidder is currently prequalified in the categories of Utilities or Highway Construction, the bidder must return his Proposal to the Prequalification Manager (10 Park Plaza, Room 7552) and receive a new Official Bid Proposal. If a bidder is not prequalified in the categories of Utilities or Highway Construction, all applications and requests for prequalification in these categories must be received in hand by the Prequalification Manager (10 Park Plaza, Room 7551) not later than 14 calendar days preceding the day set for the opening of the bids on or before July 11, 1995.
