Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to complete a construction project to relocate Packing and Crating to Air Freight Terminal. All work is to be performed at McChord AFB, WA. The magnitude of Construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance is 120 Calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation is expected to issue on or about 17 Jul 95, with a bid opening date projected to be 16 Aug 95. This acquisition may be 100% set aside for small and disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 10 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued under full and open competition procedures without further notice. Bid packages and/or planholder lists should be requested in writing. No telephone or telefax requests will be accepted. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 1542 with an average annual gross revenue of $17 million for the last three (3) fiscal years. (177)
