Michele Templeman (804) 734-8666 (Site Code DECA01) This is a modification to the synopsis which was issued on June 8, 1995 Issue No. PSA-1363 for the acquistion of PC's for the Defense Commissary Agency. The government intends to issue three solicitations to acquire up to 700 of each of the following configurations. The government requires a minimum of a two year mail-in warranty for all PC's acquired under this acquisition. Any requests which have been received for Solicitation No. DECA01-95-R-0051 shall receive all three solicitations as follows: DECA01-95-R-0051. This configuration must operate PTS software; 640 x 480 video resoultion 64K colors, small fonts. Any of the following brand names of equipment have been found to be acceptable in DeCA's network testing: IBM, Dell, Gateway, and AT & T. Vendors may offer models of equipment from one, or more than one of the above listed manufacturer's, that meet the specifications to satify this requirement. Shipping points include all DeCA stores, regions and Headquarters locations. PC's destined for overseas locations shall be shipped to a CONUS container consolidation point. The total ordering period for these PC's shall not exceed 24 months to include the exercise of all options. The government anticipates the issue of indefinite delivery type contracts to satisfy this requirement.
