D -- DATAGRAPHIX LASER PRINTER MAINTENANCE SOL DATAGRAPHIX PRINTER MAINTENANCE DUE 072295 POC Contact Point, ben fulton, (202)260-6213 The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with AT&T Global Solutions (AT&T) of Rockville, MD, for the maintenance of two Datagraphix laser printers (Models 9825 and 9835), including a buster and cutter. The printers are located in EPA's Washington Information Center at 401 M Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. and the required maintenance coverage is 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The anticipated contract will contain a base period and one option period totaling 24 months. Since the printer manufacturer, Siemens, is no longer in the printer business in the US; EPA is unaware of any vendor with the ability to maintain these printers. Therefore, EPA intends to immediately negotiate a sole source contract with AT&T. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any other source(s) exist and, therefore, no RFP is available. Any vendor wishing to respond to this synopsis must do so in writing. The response must provide documentation demonstrating their capability to maintain these printers (e.g., references of identical printers being maintained by your firm, discussion of your spare parts inventory, OEM maintenance certificates possessed by maintenance personnel). In addition, your response should contain current pricing information such as a commercial price list. Any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data but instead choosing to merely submit their routine letter requesting a copy of the RFP will be ignored. Responses must be received within fifteen calendar days from publication of this announcement.
