F -- REMOVE CONTAMINATED SOIL AND TNT RESIDUE FROM BUILDING 503, PLANT PITS AND IGLOOS, FORT WINGATE, NEW MEXICO SOL DACA63-95-B-0120 DUE 082995 POC Leslie L. Contractor shall provide all materials, tools, equipment and labor necessary to remove contaminated soil and TNT residue from TNT Washout Bldg 503 (Basic Requirement). In addition to TNT decontamination, work includes the demolition, removal and disposal of block, concrete and corrugated metal 13,500 SF bldg. Option requirements include: Option 1 - Remove TNT contaminated soil from areas near three leaching beds, fill and install two RCRA caps; and, Option 2 - Decontaminate approximately 730 earthen covered, concrete encased igloos of TNT residues. If a large business firm is selected, the firm must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan. Fort Worth District goals are that a minimum of 60.3% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount be placed with small businesses (including small disadvantaged businesses); 9.8% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with small disadvantaged businesses; 2.9% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with woman-owned small businesses; and 5.5% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with historically black colleges or universities/minority institutions.
