70 -- COMPUTER HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE IN SUPPORT OF THE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT DATA SYSTEMS (MSDS) FOR THE TRIDENT I (C4) AND TRIDENT II (D5) PROGRAMS Sol N00030-96-Q-0032. The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to contract with Vitro Corporation of Silver Spring MD for the procurement, assembly, test and delivery of replacement MSDS computer hardware and software for the United States TRIDENT I (C4) and United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT II (D5) programs. Vitro Corporation is the only contractor with the required expertise, experience and facilities to design, procure, test and install Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) computer hardware into existing, specially designed cabinets and link that hardware to existing cabled networks onboard the TRIDENT Ship Submersible Ballistic Nuclears (SSBNs) and at shore support activities.
