Y -- SYNOPSIS: FIRE STATION, AGE, SECURITY, AND MEDICAL TRAINING FACILITY. SOL DAHA30-95-B-0011. Contact Point, Mr. John J. Synopsis: Contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to construct and rehabilitate facilities located at the 109th Airlift Group, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Schenectady County Airport, Scotia, N.Y. in accordance with project plans and specifications. Project incorporates construction and rehabilitation of the following facilities in a phased construction sequence: Phase 1: Construct a 12,000 square feet Fire Station, construct a 6,500 square feet Security Police Facility, construct a 1,710 square feet addition and modify 7,008 square feet of an existing Medical Training Facility and site improvements and utilities connections for each of the project sites. Phase 2: Rehabilitate the existing 5,500 square feet Fire Station for Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE). Phase 3: Demolish three (3) facilities totaling 8,329 square feet. The project will be bid as a single contract the magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Standard Identification Code (SIC) is 1531. The anticipated performance time for this project is 365 calendar days after notice to proceed. IFB DAHA30-95-B-0011 will be issued on or about 25 July 1995 with a bid opening date on or about 29 August 1995. It is required that all firms requesting a solicitation package identify, in writing, whether they will be bidding as a prime or a sub-contractor and whether their firm is a large, small, emerging small, certified small disadvantaged, or certified 8(a).
