Crouse, (202) 685-3162 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. The proposed acquisition listed herein is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this project is 1629. The size standard is $17 Million. The work includes demolition, modification and general construction of sewage treatment plant facilities at the Marine Corps Based, Quantico, Virginia. The facility shall consist of demolition of trickling filters, demolition of warehouse buildings and an incinerator building, demolition of secondary clarifier and trickling filter recycle pump station, demolition of sewage pump station, partial demolition of sludge heater and digester, removal of asbestos siding and floor tile on selected buildings, removal of selected piping, including the nitrification tanks, ducts and equipment in various buildings, lead paint removal on secondary digesters. Construction of new administrative building, new final clarifier and related piping and equipment, new post aeration tanks, and ultra violet disinfection tank and system, new anoxic tanks and denutrification/nitrification tanks, new anarobic digester and control building, new headworks building, and modifications to solids processing building including the installation of a centrifuge. Supporting facilities shall include parking, landscaping, utility connections, and access roads. Construction includes gravity sewer mains casing and manholess and force mains. Please note that the plans/specs will be issued on a ''first-come'', ''first-serve'' basis. The projected date for issuance of plans and specifications is 24 August 1995.
