This project consists of upgrading the interior and exterior of Building 708 as follows: EXTERIOR-A new amin extrance will be constructed with associated planters and walks. The fascia will be painted. An electronic marquee will be installed on the front canopy and accent and under canopy lighting shall be installed. INTERIOR-Offices, lounges and latrines will receive new finishes (floors, walls, ceilings, doors, trim, lighting fixtures, etc). Overall electrical, HVAC and fire alarm/protection shall be upgraded or installed. Any demolition work may involve asbestos abatement. The cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business Firms (SDB). Interested SDB firms need to submit their interest not later than 11 JUL 95 and provide evidence of elegibility. If adequate interest is not received from SDB firms, the Solicitation will be issued unrestricted; therefor replies are requested from all business concerns. SDB eligibility evidence to include performace references, previous similar projects completed, and positive statement of eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, along with bonding capability.
