59 -- POWER FREQUENCY CONVERTER SETS SOL N66604-95-R-0730 DUE 083195 POC Contact Ray Smith, Contracting Officer at (203) 440-6701 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Detachment New London intends to competitively acquire (1) Power Frequency Converter Set with an option to buy a second (one unit) Power Frequency Converter Set. These frequency converters must meet the power requirements of the Type 18H and 8J periscopes. This equipment shall be in accordance with Government furnished MIL-31000 Developmental Drawings and performance must meet or exceed established performance specifications. This procurement will include Provisioned Item Ordering (PIO) provisions for the ordering of related supplies and services for this new unit(s). This procurement will also include a total of 300 man-hours of engineering and technician support for initial set up, engineering analysis, and training - as required. This announcement changes the 5/11/95 CBD announcement for these items from a sole source to competitive procurement. (0191)
