additional information regarding solicitationdaae20-95R0122 for the
tank target mechanism (ttm). Solicitation will not be issued as a
multiyear requirement. Solicitation will be issued as a two step
request for proposal for a quantity of 550 eachttms, 16 hand Held
controllers, spare parts, and interim contractorsupport. The proposed
contract will include four, 1 year, 100 per cent evaluated options.
Technical evaluation will be based on the requirements set Forth in the
Solicitation scope of work, specif-ications and evaluation criteria in
section L and M. Technical eval-uation will be performed approximately
2 to 4 months after issue of the Solicitation, at a date set Forth in
the Solicitation. The technical proposal shall not include prices or
price information. In the second step, only BIDS based upon technical
proposals determined to be acceptable, will be considered for award and
each bid in the second step must be based on the bidder'S own technical
proposal. Offerors should submit proposals that are acceptable without
Addi tional explanation or information. The Government may make a
final determination regarding a proposal'S acceptability solely on the
BA-Sis of the proposal as submitted. The Government may proceed with
the second step without requesting further information from anyofferor.
However, the Government may request additional information from
offerors of proposals that It considers reasonably susceptible of being
made acceptable, and may discuss proposals with theirofferors. A notice
of unacceptability will be forwarded to the offeror upon completion of
the proposal evaluation and final deter-mination of unacceptability.
Multiple technical proposals may be submitted by each offeror.
Tentative delivery and performance re quirements are FOB origin, first
article 90 days after award, first delivery of 150 each ttm'S 90 days
after approved first article. This information is not binding on the
Government and the actual DE livery and performance requirements will
be contained in the request for proposal under step two. The ACALA has
a collection of interface drawings and specifications for RETS
available upon request. Esti mated issue date of this Solicitation is
073195. Effective 1 Oct 94 AMCCOM separated into two new commands the
industrial operation COM mand (IOC) and the Acquisition Chemical
Armament Logistics Activity (ACALA). It is imperative that special
attention be Given when AD-dressing requests for solicitations and
BIDS/offers. Failure to properly address requests for solicitations in
accordance with this CBD notice will result in non-receipt of the
Solicitation package. Failure to properly address BIDS/offers in
accordance with solic itation instructions may result in a late bid
which cannot be considered. Written, FAX or electronic requests for
Solicitation pack-ages are accepted. NO telephone requests will be
honored. Requests for copies of this Solicitation should include your
Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code (if a CAGE Code has been
assigned toyou) along with your name, address, datafax number, and
