Dorinne Rivoal, Contracting Officer, (703) 784-5822 x235. CORRECTION:
When this action was originally published in the Commerce Business
Daily on 21 June 1995 the following information was inadvertently left
out: For the purpose of identifying small businesses, the SIC code for
this action is 3812, ''Search, Detection, Navigation, and Guidance
Systems, and Instruments'', for which the size standard is less than
750 employees. All parties interested in having this program set aside
for small businesses only, including those companies which have
already identified an interest in this program, must provide the Marine
Corps with a Capability Statement. This Capability Statement must
include, at a minimum, information regarding the number of employees
the company has, other pertinent information regarding the company's
small business status, a sufficiently detailed description of the
company's experience in the integration of shelters, computers, and
other electronic equipment (including the development and installation
of software) onto multiple vehicular platforms (LAVs, HMMWVs, or
other) to produce functioning systems, a sufficiently detailed
description of the company's experience in software
development/production and use of NBC detection and analysis equipment
(including Mass_spectrometers), a sufficiently detailed description of
the companies experience with communications equipment and human
factors, and other reasons why the company feels that they have the
capability to perform the type of work required under this program. If
a company does not have a great deal of experience in the
aforementioned areas, the Capability Statement should so state and
focus on how, given their lack of experience, the company would hope to
successfully meet the Government's requirements. Companies planning on
teaming together should provide a joint capability statement which
clearly identifies each company, their small business classification
status and number of employees, and their proposed roles in performance
under the LNBCRS program. Capability Statements must be received at the
address identified above, Attention: Michael A. Winn, on or before 11
August 1995. (0194) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0500 19950714\58-0001.SOL)
