Work under these specifications consists of the following: Remove two upward acting sectional doors, enlarge openings, and provide two new upward acting sectional doors and operators; cut two new wall openings and provide two new upward acting sectional doors and operators; remove two existing walk doors and replace with two new walk doors; cut new wall opening and install new walk door; remove existing window and replace with new sliding window; construct pedestrian crossing; provide prefabricated concrete stairway and entry platform; construct one reinforced concrete vehicle cantilever gate entry slab; and construct one reinforced concrete vehicle crossing. The work is situated in Plymouth County, Iowa, approximately one and 1/4 miles south of the town of Hinton, Iowa. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance is 90 days. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 1, 1995. The projected bid opening date is on or about August 31, 1995. This proposed solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses. The solicitation will be issued on double-sided, high-density DOS-formatted 3.5-inch floppy diskettes.
