The project entails the upgrading of existing Range 23 to a Multipurpose Range Complex (MPRC-L). Construct one 4,600 meter by 1,000 meter lane consisting of three separate internal lanes. The range will contain 33 stationary infantry target emplacements, 53 stationary armor target emplacements, 7 armor moving target carrier emplacements, and 21 defilade positions. Primary facilities are located inside the perimeter of the range complex and consist of the following: control tower, range maintenance support building, track vehicle maintenance building, multipurpose classroom building, open mess, bleacher enclosure, two MCOFT pads, ammo breakdown building and vehicle parking area. Support facilities are located outside of the range complex perimeter and consist of installing approximately 4 miles of primary power lines to the site. The total construction cost of the project is between $10,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. Duration of the project is 540 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. The SIC for this project is 1629.
