(402)221-4266. The work will include the following: (Approx.
quantities) Removal of an underground fuel storage tank, oil/water
separator, lift station, aircraft mockup and contaminated soil. New
construction consists of a 150' dia burn pit area; 95' pipe trench
lined with layers of geotextile fabric, sand, and a HDPE lines (60
mil); crushed rock surface in burn pit, 50' drive around area, and
entrance drive, a steel aircraft mockup; structural steel control
tower; liquid propane fuel system and appurtenances; lift station;
water and drain lines; electrical system to include 50 KVA transformer,
lighting, service rack, cathodic protection, igniter system, and all
conduit and wiring; clearing and grubbing; fencing; and concrete
equipment pads. The estimated construction cost of this project is
between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be
a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to
commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the
work 360 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions
will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete
the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be
required. Bid sets will be available on/a August 7, 1995. Half-size
plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests
for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14
days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished
if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets
be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the
responsibility of the requestor). Please list street address (for
