The work includes renovation of buildings 89 and 122 which includes new restrooms, offices and elevated mezzanine including the following; excavation, concrete, structural steel, bar joists, metal studs, drywall, suspended scoustical ceiling, hollow metal doors, frames and hardware, batt insulation, aluminum store front, glazing, bath accessories, painted toilet partitions, ceramic tile, painting, vinyl floor, electrical and mechanical equipment with incidental related work. The Standard Industiral Code (SIC) for this project is 1541. The related Small Business size standard is 17 million. Completion time is 150 days after award. Estimated value is between $250,000.00 & $500,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify the contracting office above in writing of their intention to bid the project as a prime contractor within 15 days from date of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform this type of project. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns the solicitatin will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns as well as SDB Concerns. There is no charge for plans and specifications.
