Electrical Inspectorate circular on Safety Switch (KY 119-95)
(available in Finnish, 5 pages). 6. Description of Content: The purpose
of the circular is to provide the definition of a safety switch and to
reserve it for specific switch devices only. The circular establishes
the scope of use of the safety switch, and states the requirements on
the electrical and mechanical characteristics of switches. The
differences to the EN 60947-3 Standard relate to marking and locking
requirements that are essential with view to safety. 7. Objective and
