Danner, Contract Specialist, Phone: (202) 512-3552 The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) has a need to secure a contractor to provide a training course relating to delivering congressional testimony. The successful contractor will be expected to provide instructors and revisions to existing course materials. Presentations by experienced GAO testifiers and videotaped practice exercises with feedback will be included in the course. The class size will range from 8 to 12 participants. As currently designed, the course runs for two (2) consecutive days. Most classes will be held at GAO headquarters in Washington, D.C., but it may become necessary to hold some classes at GAO regional offices. The course is currently in use at GAO but some course modifications may be required, including changes that would allow the course to be offered to regional office staff over GAO's video network. The period of performance will be from October 1, 1996 or date of award, whichever is later, through September 30, 1997, with four (4) annual renewable options. A fixed rate, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery service contract is anticipated. Requests for the solicitation document are to be submitted in writing.
