B -- OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUPPORT SERVICES SOL S-OPRAQ-95-R-1000 DUE 100695 POC Cornelius Pitts, Jr., Contract Specialist, (703) 875-6011 The Department of State (DOS), Office of Safety, Health and Environmental Management, requires the services of industrial hygiene and environmental health specialists to perform occupational, health, safety, and environmental program assessments and technical support at DOS overseas facilities. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, facilities, services and equipment to provide assessments and technical support to evaluate programs already in place, assess their effectiveness, conduct risk assessments, quantify hazardous exposures, analyze findings, draw conclusions and develop recommendations for improvement. Proposed industrial hygienists must be certified (or by eligible for certification) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and possess a security clearance at the Top Secret level. Preference will be given to companies who have experience in providing this support at overseas locations. Duration of contract term is anticipated to be one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Assessments to be performed will be based upon availability of funds for any given fiscal year of contract performance. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or about August 21, 1995 with proposals due 45 days thereafter. More than one award is possible.
