A -- FIRE EXTINGUISHMENT TECHNOLOGY ON RAPID GROWTH FIRE THREATS SOL N62269-95-R-0177 DUE 083195 POC Point of Contact: Christopher Veith, (215) 441-3157 The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Walter Kidde Aerospace located in Wilson, NC for research into alternative fire extinguishment technology using Fine Water Mist (FWM) to extinguish dry bay rapid growth fires. Any potential offerors must provide evidence of their capability to supply the following test vessels: (1) Spherical Test vessel 3 X 7 Cubic feet and (2) Rectangular Test vessel with varying geometry from 3 to 16 Cubic feet.
