Contracting Officer Sources Sought. Contractor must be familiar with
Mona Island, Puerto Rico and must has experience working on a remote,
arid, and rugged terrain; and the knowledge and experience working on
snakes of the Genus Epicrates. The Contractor will be required to:
estimate population numbers, home range, and activity patterns of
free-ranging Mona boas (Epicrates monensis monensis), and to gather
basic biological data on feeding, reproduction, and general life
history traits of this species. This information will be used to revise
the Mona boa Recovery Plan. Interested persons may identify their
interest and capability to respond to the requirement in writing within
15 calendar days after publication of this notice. This request is not
