The work includes the removal of existing incandescent, self ballasted mercury vapor and high pressure sodium lighting fixtures (as shown on the drawings) including associated wire ways, branch circuit wiring conduit and conductors, lighting panelboards, and feeders to the lighting panelboards. The work also includes the installation of new energy efficient high pressure sodium lighting systems. Lighting fixtures, branch circuiting, panelboards, lighting contactors, lighting control systems, exit signs, emergency lighting units, motion detectors, ambient light sensors, and feeders are included in the work. An upgrade of the electrical service to Building 10 will also be included as part of this project. The Contractor shall provide all wiring, conduits, supports, testing, patching and cleanup, and incidental related work. Note that there is asbestos contained building materials at various locations of mounting and coring sites.
