Ponce, Contracting Officer, (505) 784-2888. This solicitation is for Upgrade A/C, Building 1, Project No. 93-0249 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Project includes the removal and replacement of a refrigerated central air conditioning an heating system. The new HVAC system shall be complete, including all new duct work, new air handlers, a new chiller, new hot and cold water piping and all new controls. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance time is 136 calendar days per contract period. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns that meet this criteria who wish to be considered in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with points of contact, telephone numbers and contract numbers), letter from bonding company certifying maximum level of bonding for the proposed project, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action and intent to bid, a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern and nonrefundable check of $17.00 made payable to the Treasurer of the United State for the solicitatin package. Even if you have sent evidence of SDB eligibility on a prior solicitation, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns within 15 days of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this ntoice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Firms should indicate whether they are women omned, small, or large business concerns. Also firms should state if they are interesred as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. IFB will be issued on or about 10 Aug 95. Site Visit is scheduled for 22 Aug 95.
