Construct a 460 SF addition that shall structurally and visually match building 126. Work includes minor demolition, concreting, masonry, steel joist, roofing system. Suspended ceiling, flooring, painting, mechanical and electrical support along with incidental related work. Exterior work shall include relocation of landscaping, rework to a patio area, new walkway and grassing. Existing finishes contain lead paint which are to be addressed per applicable Federal, State and CSS Regulations, Codes and Requirements. Protection of Government equipment from weather damage along with cooperating on disruptions and interferences with drafting room operations shall be part of this contract. Estimated construction cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Item 10, bid opening date, is an approximate date only. This solicitation is advertised in accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds (APR 1984). The proposed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office in writing, Attn: Code 051C of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 28 July 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received for SDB concerns, the Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and nother notice will be issued indicating set-aside decision.
