SOLICITATION NOTICE: Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the separation of the sanitary sewer and storm sewer lines and appurtenances on the SEARHC/Mt. Edgecumbe Campus. This work will entail construction and installation of new sanitary sewer lines, manholes and cleanouts, and interior plumbing and rain leader separation in Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital as well as other support buildings. The project includes paving of road crossings, grading for drainage, and reseeding and planting of disturbed area on the Campus. The plans are dimensioned using International System of Units (SI) (Metric) ``soft conversion'' wherein metric equivalents are substituted for standard inch-pound measurements. This is a Solicitation Notice for Bids. A non-refundable fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) per set of bid documents is required. Checks are to be made payable to SEARHC, 222 Tongass Drive, Sitka, Alaska 99835 and mailed or delivered to the office of SEARHC Facility Management at the address listed above. Contract completion time is 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Preference in the award of this contract shall be given to 51% Indian and Alaskan Native owned and operated organizations or enterprises if sufficient eligible firms are identified which can demonstrate the capability to perform the contract work of the size and type involved and within the time frame provided above.
