A solicitation notice will be published before invitations are issued. The work includes renovation of two three-story, 27,000 square feet each Bachelor Enlisted Quarters. Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: replacement of all exterior doors, windows, exterior wall finish, and roofing system; laminating gypsum board to all interior walls, and painting; removal and replacement of power transformer; removal and replacement of plumbing fixtures; and removal and replacement of mechanical air conditioning and heating equipment; removal and disposal of one 10,000 gallon underground fuel oil storage tank. Handling of asbestos and lead containing paint materials will be required. Contract shall also include all incidental related work necessary to provide two complete and usable BEQ facilities, ready for occupancy.
