The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with ERDAS, Inc. for software which shall contain: vector GIS modules for ESRI ARC/INFO models; orthorectification capability and DEM creation; image rectification, registration and radiometric correction; 3-D visualization and terrain modeling. The software should accept the following data formats: all ERDAS formats including Landsat; USGS formats for DEMs; TIFF, EPS, and LAN raster image formats. The ERADAS IMAGINE and ORTHOMAX software is the only package compatible with the imagery and elevation models used in the sponsored program.
