The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to negotiate sole source with Calcomp, Inc, Suite 651 Forum VI, Greensboro, NC 27408 for continued hardware maintenance services, subject to availability of FY-96 funds. The maintenance services for the hardware listed below includes labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts and transportation necessary to perform preventative maintenance inspections and intervening service calls to ensure performance at factory acceptability standards for two (2) Government-owned Calcomp 5845 Electrostatic plotters and peripherals which are located at the U.S. EPA, Washington Information Center, Waterside Mall 401 M. Street, S.W., Washington, DC 20460 and U.S. EPA, National Computer Center, Highway 54 and Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27711. EPA believes that Calcomp, Inc, is the only vendor capable of satisfying the hardware maintenance requirements stated above. The period of performance is October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. No solicitation is available. All interested parties must respond within 15 days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall: 1) include information on the proposed services which clearly supports the requirements outlined above and; 2) provide itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible.
