This project consists of the removal and replacement of the roof for Building No. 4 (Gymnasium) at the Northlands Job Corps Center located in Vergennes, Vermont. The new roof work requirements include the installation of precast roof coping and roof drains. The period of performance for construction is 72 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Initial Plans and Specifications will be available on August 10, 1995, only from the Architect/Engineer firm of Truex, deGroot and Cullins, 209 Battery Street, Burlington, Vermont 05401. It is emphasized that requests for plans and specifications should be directed to the A/E firm listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. Plans and specificatons will be made available for pick up at the A/E's office and also for delivery at an additional charge. Requests must be in writing and will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until the initial supply is exhausted. For requests made after the initial supply is exhausted, a non-refundable fee not to exceed the actual cost of reproduction of the IFB documents (to be determind by the Contracting Officer,) plus a shipping charge based on each individual request (if applicable,) will be required in order to obtain the IFB documents. Pre-bid Walk-Thru is scheduled for August 24, 1995, at 1:30 p.m. (local) at the Center. This will be the only opportunity to review the job site prior to submission of bids. Bid-Opening is scheduled for September 12, 1995, at 1:30 p.m. (Local) at the A/E's office. (NOTE: This is a 100% small business set aside acquisition.
