The work will consist of: the removal & disposal of asbestos material and lead-containing paint, remove old and damaged roofing materials, kitchen cabinets, plumbing, sinks, medicine cabinets, vanities, exhaust fans, floor tiles, gutters, downspouts, splash blocks, ceramic wall tiles, wood windows, doors, frames, and electrical fused load centers. Also, there will be provisions for: smoke detectors, circuit breaker panel boards, siding, sprinkler system, exhaust fans, sinks, plumbing, carpeting, tiling, painting, garages, electrical work, attic insulation, privacy fencing, landscaping, and any other incidental related work. The site work includes- the removal of: existing pavement, curbs, utilities, play equipment, plant material, and signage. Renovation includes: new pavement, erosion control measures, overlay paving, curbs, fencing, area lighting, play equipment, utility work, regrading, and related work. Three options will be included in the solicitation to be exercised at the time of contract award or within 180 calendar days after award. Option 1 includes the provision for improvements and repairs to three buildings. Option 2 includes the provision for demolition of 11 buildings and required site work. Option 3 includes provisions for improvements and repairs to 12 buildings and demolition of 24 units. The SIC code is 1522 and the size standard is $17.0 Million.
