The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete an upgrade of the battery room. Work includes installing spark-resistant exhaust fan and aluminum (acid-resistant) ductwork, replacing existing electrical items with explosion-proof equipment, installing battery charger stands, new electrical panels for battery chargers and hoist equipment, new disconnect switches, sealing entrance with concrete masonry units, enlarge another existing opening and install new swinging doors and protective bollards, new water deionzer, etc., as specified in the plans and specifications. The estimated cost range is between $85,000 and $100,000, with a construction completion date of 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
