The units shall be VME based and each channel shall have the capability of independently acquiring and maintaining synchronization of PCM telemetry data in severe signal environments at bit rates from 10 Kbps to 20 Mbps. Each synchronizer has 16 channels. The synchronizers shall be capable of being setup and controlled using an IBM compatible PC via IEEE 488 interface.
