This VA medical Center has a requirement for remote site transcription services. Contractor must have the ability to receive and transmit data through use of telecomunications equipment to include surgical reports. Material is dictated by physicians and other professionals and includes a high incidence of medical terminology. Workload is estimated at 900,000 lines annually. Contractor will be required to provide transmittal data within a 24 hour period. Services are for the period 10/1/95 through 9/30/96 with three (3) renewal option years.
