The delivery period for all items is 01 Apr 96 through 31 Mar 97, plus a thirty-day carryover period. Approximately 35% of all products is being set aside for small business withpreferential consideration for small disadvantaged business in accordance with DFSC's implementation of P. L. 99-661. DFSC is unable to accept any offers from a small business for which the same quantities are being used as supply commitments for the8(A) program. 8(A) reservations, in as yet to be determined quantities, may be included in this solicitation. The Air Force is currently considering the use of Jet A in lieu of or in combination with JP-8 at four bases in Texas. Since the Air Forceis still evaluating the suitability of Jet A use, offers of Jet A are solicited and will be evaluated against JP-8 offers. Should the Air Force conclude the use of Jet A is not advisable, the Jet A quantities will be cancelled and converted to JP-8.Requests for copies of the solicitation must be submitted in writing.
