Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to the following: Removal of existing metal stairs and handrails, exterior concrete stairs, entry doors, frames, and windows in the stair towers and install new concrete filled metal pan stairs with new handrails, existing window opening in exterior wall shall be filled with new masonry unitsblock. Install new lighting in stair towers and outside at new platform. Remove in the office area-corridor doors and frames, office partitions, wall and floor finishes, suspended ceilings and exterior windows. Removal of heating and electrical items. Install new doors and frames, extended ceiling, wall and floor finishes, fixtures in men's and women's room, electrical work, heating and air conditioning. In the supply store, remove existing office area partitions and roll-up door in maintenance Bay E and install new concrete masonry and drywall partitions for new supply store. Install office area with new bathrooms, changing rooms, and customer service areas with plastic laminate and glass service counters. Performance period is 240 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. IFB will be issued on or about 18 August 1995. The proposed procurement listed herein is restricted to Small Disadvantaged Business. Standard Industrial Classification code for this procurement is 1541. Any concern responding to this solicitation is classified as a small business if the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years do not exceed $17.0 million dollars.
