A depth of 49-feet will be required with an allowable overdepth of 2 feet. The total amount of material to be dredged is approximately 275,000 cubic yards from Station 100+00 to Station 215+00 with disposal along Ft. Clinch State Park Beach located approximately 3 miles from the project site and approximately 553,000 cubic yards from Station 215+00 to Station 340+00 with disposal in the Fernandina ODMSS located approximately 13 miles from the project site. Method of dredging is unrestricted during the time period of 01 December 1995 through 31 March 1996 and will be restricted to methods other then hopper dredging during the time period of 01 April 1996 through 30 November 1996. Work also includes turbidity and endangered species monitoring. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Pre-Solicitation Notice will be issued on or about 31 Jul 95. Invitation DACW17-95-B-0050 will be issued on or about 07 Sept 95 and opened on or about 24 Oct 95. Cost of Plans and Specifications is $25.00.
