Alternate No. 1 - Supply all labor, equipment, and material for the construction of approximately 2,645 SF. Award of any contract resulting from this solicitation shall be subject to Section 7(b) of Pub. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450(e) and 41 CFR 14.1354 which require that preference in subcontracting be given to Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprises, and preference in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native individuals. Consistent with these authorities, potential bidders shall advertise and solicit subcontracting opportunities from Indian/Alaska Native firms for suppliers and services. Section 7(b) plan requirements will be specified in the bid document. Bidders shall request names of potential subcontractors and suppliers from the Tribe(s) on or near whose reservation(s) the work under the contract shall be performed. The potential awardee shall be required to submit its plan to implement Section 7(b) when requested by the Contracting Officer. Failure by the bidder to submit its plan when required and implement same after award shall be sufficient reason for non-award of a contract or termination of contract award for default. The procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, P. L. 100-636. The Construction price range for Serial No. BIA-0150-95-10 is between $1 Million and $5 Million.
