Contractor shall provide all required labor, equipment, supplies, material, transportation,supervision, and all else necessary to furnish and install all playground equipment. Contractor shall provide one concrete surfaced half basketball court, one sand filled beach volley ball court, a slide and swing set for tots, a swing set for older children, and a climbing gym. A concrete pad will have to be poured for the basketball court, sand will need to be imported, and concrete curbing will be required as a border to various play areas. Some painting will also be required. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 with a performance period of 45 calendar days. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1799 with a three year average annual small business size standard of $7 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of publication of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above written evidence of (1) a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; (2) capability to successfully perform 25% of the work with their own labor forces (include complete references of past performance for similar work that demonstrates the capacity to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude); and (3) bonding and financial capacity. Complete information concerning experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Evaluation of the responses received will be based solely on the information received by the closing date. If adequate responses is not received from sufficient SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB concerns.
